We’re also home to notable specialty programs, including cancer care, heart surgery, orthopedic surgery, labor and delivery services (including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit) and a nationally designated Comprehensive Stroke Center.
Position Summary This is a Casual / Per Diem – Varied Shift position located at Scripps Memorial in La Jolla.

Responsibilities
Under supervision, assist nurses and physicians in the performance of their functions.
Perform assessment of vital signs, thermal applications, non‑sterile soaks, application of simple dressings and splints, stool and urine collection.
May transport patients and/or provide coverage for the unit secretary.
Required Qualifications
State‑Issued (CA) Certified EMT or CNA
BLS Healthcare Provider Certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting
Experience in emergency services
Compensation Position Pay Range: $25.95 – $32.56 per hour
