Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Assistant Director of Nursing at Edenbrook Platteville, located in Platteville, WI. The Assistant Director of Nursing will collaborate with the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department's operations, ensuring exceptional patient care, and supervising the nursing staff. Responsibilities include monitoring patient health, implementing effective infection control practices, and ensuring compliance with long‑term care standards. The Assistant Director will also assist in staff training, performance evaluations, and policy implementation to maintain a high level of care and safety.
Qualifications
Experience in Nursing and a strong understanding of patient care principles
Skills in Nursing Management, including leadership and team coordination
Knowledge of Infection Control practices and regulatory compliance
Experience in Long‑term Care services and resident‑centered care
Strong foundation in Medicine, including assessments and clinical decision‑making
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin, but will consider a strong, experienced LPN.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative, and professional environment
Previous leadership or supervisory experience, especially in a healthcare setting, is highly preferred
