Position Description We are seeking a high‑energy, entrepreneurial

Director, Healthcare Services – MedTech

to lead a team of senior consultants and act as the main conduit between Healthcare clients and our project teams on a range of complex assignments, many of which will be centered around the MedTech and medical device space.

Team and Scope The Healthcare Industry Group, a subsidiary of A&M, is at the forefront of delivering transformational change to the healthcare industry. Our team includes expertise in interim management, restructuring, revenue cycle management, mergers and acquisitions, compliance and regulatory, digital technology and analytics. The practice serves private equity portfolio companies and public and private healthcare companies, with offices throughout the US.

Technology Assessment:

Review and analysis of platform, data and system architectures, and related applications/products, integrations, infrastructure, processes, data, security, IT teams for scalability, cost, resilience, and value opportunities.

Performance Improvement / Operational Turnaround:

Perform assessments and provide rapid interventions using proprietary rapid results diagnostic.

Cost Optimization:

Identify high‑impact opportunities for EBITDA and cash flow improvements across the cost structure.

M&A Services:

Conduct operational/synergy due diligence, integration planning and execution, and divestiture/carve‑out planning.

Finance Operations:

Improve management reporting and optimize the month‑end close process.

Interim Management:

Provide interim executive leadership (CEO, COO, CFO, CIO) where needed.

How You Will Contribute

Identify and implement opportunities to reduce cost structure.

Review Go‑to‑Market strategies including portfolio assessments, pricing and sales compensation plans.

Build and manage financial models and conduct financial and operating analyses.

Provide PMO assistance and overall governance support to clients.

Utilize project management tools and templates (e.g., Smartsheet).

Leverage tools such as Lucid, PowerBI, and Generative AI.

Assist clients through crisis and performance improvement plans.

Develop KPI metrics and conduct operational data analysis.

Summarize and present recommendations to clients.

Lead work streams and manage day‑to‑day engagement priorities.

Prepare client‑ready deliverables and presentations.

Coach and mentor junior staff.

Build relationships with clients and seek growth opportunities.

Support marketing initiatives and product/service offering tools.

Qualifications General Skills

High energy and passion for healthcare.

12+ years of experience in healthcare with a MedTech focus; combination of consulting and industry preferred.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; experience with Visio, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, SPSS, benchmarking a plus.

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Solid understanding of the M&A process and due diligence.

Knowledge of MedTech industry value‑chain and channels.

Prior experience with private‑equity firms.

Experience managing client engagements and mentoring staff.

Excellent verbal and written skills.

Willingness and ability to travel.

BA/BS or MBA/MS in Accounting, Finance, MHA, MPH, etc.

Commercial Skills

Familiarity with pricing structures, GPO/IDN group purchasing, contracting processes.

Understanding of commercial channels and call points.

Knowledge of sales compensation structures.

Understanding of Medicare and managed care landscape.

Product profitability analysis skills.

Operational Skills

Manufacturing processes and supply‑chain knowledge.

Experiences with S&OP, warehousing, 3PL models.

Understanding of manufacturing standards and costing methodologies.

Inventory management strategies.

Vendor consolidation analyses.

Insourcing vs outsourcing insights.

Salary:

$160,000 – $180,000 plus discretionary bonus.
