Job Description Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Legal Recruiting Manager, assisting with all aspects of legal recruiting and related administrative functions. Contribute to the success of the D.C. office’s lateral recruiting, summer associate programming, inclusion, professional development and mentoring through efficient coordination and proactive support.
Primary Responsibilities and/or Essential functions: Law Student Recruiting
Serve as an ambassador of the firm with candidates, summer associates, law school administration, law student organizations and vendors.
Compile candidates resume packets and materials for law student recruiting; assist in planning and attending receptions; liaise with student organizations on Firm Sponsorships.
Maintain candidate information in viRecruit and track recruiting metrics.
Coordinate Firm participation in On Campus Interviews (OCI) at law schools; complete registration forms to secure interview dates; and coordinate OCI interview schedules.
Coordinate call back interviews, solicit feedback from Attorneys, Hiring Partner, Practice Group Leaders and prepare post-interview evaluation report
Generate interview schedules, offer, acceptance and rejection letters.
Summer Associate Program
Assist in coordinating logistical preparations and orientation agendas of summer events, social programming & training for summer associates.
Attend social events and facilitate interaction among attorneys and summer associates.
Assist with summer assignment coordination and attend summer work report meetings.
Assist with compiling summer evaluation packets.
Lateral Associate Recruiting
Assist with the lateral attorney recruiting process and viRecruit candidate management.
Generate interview schedules, offer, acceptance and rejection letters.
Support onboarding and integration or lateral hires.
Solicit feedback from Attorneys, Hiring Partner, Practice Group Leaders and prepare post-interview evaluation report
Maintain records of search firm candidate submissions.
Professional Development
Distribute attorney training materials, sign-in sheets and program evaluations.
Coordinate with Weil-NY to ensure NY CLE is granted for NY admitted attorneys.
Handle process re: approval of Virginia CLE credit for VA admitted attorneys.
Assist in organizing mentoring pairings and inclusion events.
Miscellaneous
Update DC Event and DC Legal Recruiting Calendars.
Monitor DC Recruiting Inbox, flagging emails of interest and taking appropriate action.
Coordinate AMEX backup for department corporate credit card.
Process reimbursement of interview-related expenses.
Coordinate bar exam expenses/reimbursements.
Assist in coordinating periodic office attorney lunches/dinners/gatherings, practice group events/gatherings; office happy hours, office Holiday Party and other events as they arise.
Other duties as assigned.

Understands and applies current information, technology, resources, methods and procedures necessary to perform assigned work.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work well under pressure and with constant interruptions.
Adaptable to changing circumstances and priorities.
Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills in communications in person, by e‑mail and telephone and provides information with courtesy and tact; follows instructions effectively from a diverse group of clients, attorneys and staff.
Ability to handle high‑pressure situations in a courteous and professional manner.
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
Ability to work overtime hours and travel, if needed or requested.
Education/Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree required
Estimated salary range is $75,000 - $85,000. Compensation decisions within the range are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case including but not limited to the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications.
