Lead SAP Basis Consultant at Infosys Location
Memphis, TN (may involve travel to project/client sites) Job Overview
As a Lead Consultant, you will contribute to various phases of the consulting lifecycle, including business process consulting, solution definition, and development, configuration, and deployment of SAP systems. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables, proposal development, client training, and internal capability building, enabling clients to meet evolving global needs. Responsibilities
To support the consulting lifecycle by defining problems, proposing and creating solutions, developing, configuring, and deploying SAP solutions, guiding teams on processes and deliverables, contributing to proposal development, client training, internal capability building, and scope detailing. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or three years of progressive experience in lieu of each year of education) At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology Position based in Memphis, TN; travel may be required to project or client locations Authorized to work in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship (Infosys does not provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time) Preferred Qualifications
Lead the SAP Basis workstream for implementation, upgrade, and support projects as primary contact for client and stakeholders Manage and mentor a team of SAP Basis consultants, ensuring project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards Develop and maintain project plans, scope documents, and resource allocation strategies Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and design discussions with key business users, providing guidance on best practices Perform installation, post‑implementation, and configuration tasks of SAP modules (FIORI, ECC, S4) Handle SOLMAN implementation tasks, with experience on CHARM configuration as an added advantage Conduct performance tuning of SAP systems post go‑live based on customer-reported issues Perform SAP migration using SWPM, optimizing downtime; experience on S/4 HANA conversion is an advantage Establish connectivity to third‑party software and ensure successful integration of different applications Configure cluster setups as part of HA configuration Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting, investigating, analyzing, and resolving software problems mapped to business needs Develop and maintain technical documentation for all SAP and database related tasks Document and update existing SAP business processes and work with IT/business units to modernize the environment Prepare and deliver training materials, conducting end‑user training sessions Act as trusted advisor to the client, understanding business challenges and proposing effective SAP solutions Provide post‑go‑live support and troubleshooting, ensuring system stability and performance Additional Requirements
