Position Overview

Be a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at ABA Centers of New Jersey.

The role focuses on supporting individuals with autism in home, community, and clinic settings while receiving paid training and preparation for the RBT exam through our ABA Academy of Excellence.

Compensation

Part‑time, starting rate of $24.15 per hour.

Final compensation will be determined by a candidate’s experience, training, and educational credentials.

Base pay range: $50,232.00 per year.

Responsibilities

Support individuals with autism in the home, community, or new centers. Teach daily living and social skills using evidence‑based behavior interventions. Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions. Collaborate in clinical team meetings and participate in ongoing training. Implement therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Communicate with RBTs, BCBAs, families, and executive staff to meet client needs. Perform clerical and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High‑school diploma or equivalent. Availability during after‑school hours, weekends, and holidays. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and car insurance (for in‑home services). Clean background, drug screening, and driving record. For BT: Attend a 40‑hour RBT training course and pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire. For RBT: Attend the required training program.

Performance bonus potential. $5,000 bonus for referring BCBAs. $500 bonus for referring RBTs.
