Responsibilities The Medical Affairs organization at Alnylam supports pipeline assets, prepares for launch, and supports commercially available products. The Early Assets Medical Affairs function develops medical strategy and leads medical execution to support the development of Alnylam’s investigational RNAi therapeutics.

Key responsibilities include:

Lead therapeutic landscape and KOL mapping exercise to inform early program strategy, including supporting engagement planning and execution of advisory boards and medical congresses

Contribute to relationship building and insights generation with external stakeholders (KOLs, professional societies, and advocates)

Interpret pre‑clinical and early clinical study results and develop publications to support key messages for a clinical audience

Develop slide decks, posters, publications, and other materials to support clinical development success

Initiate and drive development of integrated evidence plans (IEPs) for early‑stage disease programs, synthesizing input across cross‑functional stakeholders

Support, as needed, other key functional areas within and outside of Medical Affairs including Field Medical, Medical Omnichannel, VESt/HEOR, and Patient Advocacy

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE‑accredited institution

Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the State of Massachusetts

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong time management and leadership abilities

Ability to work independently and take initiative on a variety of projects at both the industry site and Northeastern

Position Type Full‑time, 2‑year fellowship

Compensation Compensation Grade/Pay Type: 108S Expected Hiring Range: $59,425.00 – $83,935.00
