Role Overview
Under the administrative direction of the Radiology Manager and also under the clinical guidance of the Radiologist, perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures while applying technical ability independently.
Perform all examinations accurately, completely and efficiently, checking technical quality, and submit completed exams for physician review.
Manage all aspects of the exam procedures to maximize exam efficiency while meeting patient needs.
Prepare accurate records and enter required data into the information management system.
Maintain a neat, clean, safe environment and perform quality control tests as assigned.
Treat those individuals (e.g., patient/family, client, center employee) who depend on the quality, accuracy and timeliness of the work with respect, courtesy and a focus on understanding and meeting their needs.
Work collaboratively with others to accomplish departmental and organizational goals.
Requirements
High school diploma; graduated from an approved Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) School of Ultrasound is required.
ARDMS registered in Breast & RVT is required.
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience; prostate imaging experience is a plus.

Schedule: 37.5 hrs., Monday – Friday 11-7 pm, onsite.
Location: 500 Westchester Avenue, West Harrison, NY (Westchester).
Reporting to: Manager, Diagnostic Radiology.
FSLA Status: Non-Exempt.

Pay Range $46.26 - $74.00 per hour.
