About The Opportunity
The School of Nursing invites applications for 0.5 FTE (17.5 hours per week) Visiting Non‑tenure‑Track Professor positions in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program with an anticipated start date in January 2026. This position encourages engagement with global student populations.
Responsibilities
Teach graduate courses in any modality (on‑ground, synchronous, asynchronous online, hybrid) with experience in development and continuous course improvement.
Actively engage in individual and collaborative scholarly activities, and participate in departmental, college, and university service.
In collaboration with program director and graduate program leadership, review FNP program applicants for admission and recruit and review clinical preceptors.
Demonstrate expertise in, or a commitment to, working with global student populations.
Qualifications
Terminal degree in Nursing or a related field by or within 2 years of appointment start date.
Evidence of established teaching excellence, scholarship, and service with demonstrated commitment to supporting an inclusive and collaborative faculty, staff, and student environment.
Significant clinical experience (minimum 2 years) in the relevant practice area and current Family Nurse Practitioner or related certification and practice.
Hold a current, unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in Massachusetts by the start date of the appointment.
