The Department of Pediatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, in partnership with the North Carolina Children’s Hospital, seeks a Pediatric Endocrinology Clinical Assistant Professor to support the Division’s clinical and academic missions. This appointment is a fixed‑term, 1.0 FTE position with compensation and responsibilities commensurate with the candidate’s experience.

UNC‑Chapel Hill is a leading public university committed to patient care, education, and research. The North Carolina Children’s Hospital is a nationally ranked academic medical center. The Division of Pediatric Endocrinology is accredited by the American Diabetes Association.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient and outpatient care for children with diabetes and endocrine disorders, including clinics at UNC Children’s Specialty Clinics in Chapel Hill and Raleigh, NC, with regional care as needed.
Participate in scholarly activities: quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and medical education.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
MD or MD/PhD, board certified/eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience:
Academic and clinical interest in Pediatric Endocrinology.
