Manager, One Sysco Data Job Summary The Manager, Item and Supplier Data, supports the execution of One Sysco Data (OSD) capabilities, including Images, Features & Benefits, Taxonomy/Attribution, and Sysco Supplier Suite (SSS). This role is responsible for managing day-to-day team operations and supporting process improvements through automation and operational efficiencies. The Manager works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data acquisition, governance, and compliance across Item and Supplier Master Data Management attributes. This role partners with the Director, Item and Supplier Management, to implement data strategies and support initiatives related to the acquisition and management of Item and Supplier Data. The Manager will help operationalize data solutions based on business requirements from Merchandising, eCommerce, Sales, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Personalization, Pricing, and Regulatory/Compliance.

Duties And Responsibilities

Support the execution of processes for Images, Features & Benefits, Taxonomy/Attribution, and Sysco Supplier Suite/eCommerce.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain Item and Supplier MDM standards and requirements.

Assist in the coordination of technology-related activities with Sysco Technology teams, including testing and deployment of MDM functionality.

Monitor and support supplier data compliance efforts in partnership with Merchandising teams.

Prioritize and manage requests for content updates and enhancements across OSD capabilities.

Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation and proactively work towards solve.

Provide guidance to team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.

Qualifications Education Required High school Diploma or High school Equivalency. Bachelor’s degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Education Preferred Bachelor’s degree preferred, or at least 5 years of relevant experience in master data management, e-commerce, and project management.

Experience Required Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in Master Data Management or related fields such as Foodservice, Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail Distribution, Category Management, Supply Chain, or Digital Asset Management.

Technical Skills And Abilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Understanding of data flows between MDM, DAM, eCommerce, and backend systems.
