Integration Support Engineer (GoAnywhere & MuleSoft)
Join KPMG US as an Integration Support Engineer (GoAnywhere & MuleSoft) in the Digital Nexus technology organization. This hybrid work opportunity focuses on supporting our GoAnywhere MFT Platform and MuleSoft integrations.
Responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert for GoAnywhere MFT Platform, overseeing daily operation and health; collaborate with specialists to resolve complex integration issues.
Manage and prioritize production support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders; perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for system stability.
Diagnose and resolve complex system configuration, production, and deployment problems within the GoAnywhere environment. Use monitoring and logging tools to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
Design, develop, and automate secure file transfer workflows and scripts; administer and configure GoAnywhere platform, create accounts, manage SFTP sites, and ensure compliance; provide 2nd/3rd level support for complex file transfer and platform issues.
Work closely with cross‑functional teams (business analysts, developers, PMs) to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions; communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Design, develop, and deploy MuleSoft APIs, integrations, and batch processes using Anypoint Studio, Anypoint API Manager, and CloudHub.
Qualifications
Minimum three years of recent experience in enterprise integration, practical experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform and GoAnywhere MFT.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred; MuleSoft Certified Developer (Mule 4) is a plus.
Extensive experience designing and implementing MuleSoft solutions: API‑led connectivity, REST/SOAP APIs, DataWeave; familiarity with Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, security policies (OAuth 2.0).
Ability to administer and configure secure file transfers (SFTP, FTPS), manage automated workflows, and familiarity with database configuration.
Solid understanding of integration patterns, protocols (HTTP/s, JMS, JDBC), data formats (JSON, XML, CSV); knowledge of CI/CD concepts (Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps), DevOps practices, and cloud platforms.
Strong problem‑solving skills, independently triage and resolve complex technical issues, and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
