Assistant Professor of Psychology (Tenure‑track) Rosemead School of Psychology at Biola University invites applications for a tenure‑track Assistant Professor of Psychology position beginning August 2026. We are seeking a dynamic individual who will join our faculty in contributing to the training of future psychologists through teaching, clinical training, research mentorship, and the integration of faith and psychology.

Qualifications

PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an APA‑accredited program, Clinical Psychology/PhD preferred.

Licensed (or license‑eligible) in the state of California.

Strong record or potential for excellence in teaching, clinical supervision, and research.

Commitment to mentoring and supporting students, including undergraduate and doctoral students.

Demonstrated interest in and capacity to integrate psychology and Christian theology.

Candidates who bring diverse perspectives and a commitment to Christian higher education are encouraged to apply. Candidate interest in leadership and clinical training will also be viewed favorably.

Role and Responsibilities

Teach courses in both graduate and undergraduate programs (area of expertise negotiable).

Contribute to the clinical training and professional development of doctoral students.

Engage in scholarship that reflects both scientific rigor and a commitment to the integration of Psychology and Christian Theology.

Participate in departmental service, professional development, and spiritual community life.
