SAP Integrations CPI Lead – Tata Consultancy Services
Job Description
An SAP S/4HANA CPI role focuses on integrating SAP and non‑SAP systems using SAP's Integration Suite, which includes Cloud Integration (CPI). Key responsibilities involve designing, developing, and managing integration solutions, writing code using protocols like REST and OData, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand and meet integration requirements.
Responsibilities
Create integration flows (iFlows) in SAP CPI to connect cloud and on‑premise systems.
Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical integration specifications.
Develop and manage APIs through the SAP API Management tool.
Identify, analyze, and resolve issues in integration flows and ensure best practices for performance and security.
Create clear documentation, architecture diagrams, and field mappings for all integrations to maintain a unified integration catalog.
Technical / Functional Skills
Experience building integrations in A2A and B2B scenarios using SAP PO, configuring adapters such as File, IDoc, JDBC, RFC, HTTP, SFTP, JMS, REST, SFSF, AS2, and SOAP.
Knowledge of various interfacing scenarios in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) – XML to IDocs/BAPI, File to IDocs/BAPI, HTTP to IDocs/BAPI, ABAP Proxy to JDBC.
Experience building cloud integrations using SAP CPI.
Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills with the ability to propose holistic solutions.
Managerial / General Skills
Strong knowledge of SAP BTP Integration Suite, specifically Cloud Integration (CPI).
Experience with industry‑standard protocols like SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, JSON, and XML.
Familiarity with other tools within the Integration Suite, such as API Management and Open Connectors.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills for complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and business teams.
Proven experience designing and implementing integration solutions, ideally in S/4HANA environments.
SAP Integration Suite or CPI certifications are highly valued.
Qualifications Bachelor of Computer Science
Salary Range $110,000 – $150,000 per year
