Environmental Health, Safety/Compliance Manager
We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead environment, health, and safety initiatives across multiple U.S. manufacturing sites. This is a high-visibility position reporting to the VP of Supply Chain, with direct oversight of the Ontario, CA plant and support of additional facilities. The role is critical to ensuring compliance, fostering a strong safety culture, and directly impacting operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the companywide Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other regulatory standards
Conduct inspections, audits, and compliance training across facilities
Oversee incident reporting, investigations, and root cause analysis with follow‑up corrective actions
Manage environmental compliance programs, including wastewater and stormwater reporting
Track and analyze OSHA statistics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee workers’ compensation claims and coordinate with occupational health providers
Lead forklift training and certification programs
Partner cross‑functionally to embed safety and compliance into all operations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field
Minimum 3+ years of EHS leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing
Proven track record managing safety compliance programs and teams
Strong knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, and environmental compliance requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
Bilingual Spanish is a plus
