Responsibilities
Maintain test infrastructure and tools that support hardware and software testing validation and qualification.
Oversee the Spot robot internal SQA fleet, maintaining constant runtime to validate long‑duration robustness and reliability.
Perform audits and tests of software products in accordance with software test plans and procedures.
Create test plans and test cases from development stories, product specifications, and collaboration with software developers.
Debug and characterize defects, providing detailed configuration and descriptions for passing and failing tests for product evaluation reports.
Maintain documentation of test operations and report results to engineering stakeholders.
Coordinate with SQA Robotics and Automation Engineers on test plan reviews, including new features and regression tests.
Qualifications
3+ years of prior experience as a hardware or software technician.
Prior understanding of robotics systems, including sensors, actuators, mechanical and software systems.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong initiative and ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
Knowledge of Linux and basic Python syntax.
Hands‑on testing and fixing hardware, with a tinkerer/builder mindset.
Experience with software workflow tools, in particular Jira and TestRail.
