About the Role As a
Senior Software Developer , you are a leader by example, a subject‑matter expert, and someone who influences strategic technical direction. You’ll work closely with key client stakeholders and use your experience to prove real business ROI through innovative, modern, and scalable technology solutions.
Responsibilities
Solve a wide range of technical problems by choosing the right language, framework, and tool for the job.
Work directly with client stakeholders to accomplish shared goals and deliver clean, maintainable software.
Communicate complex ideas clearly—both verbally and in writing.
Proactively identify opportunities, issues, and challenges, and recommend actionable solutions.
Demonstrate mastery of software development best practices (Agile, DevOps, Test Automation, CI/CD, TDD).
Stay ahead of the curve by exploring emerging technologies including AI, Machine Learning, Cloud, and IoT.
Thrive in environments with close collaboration among cross‑functional teams.
Earn client trust by consistently delivering value, regardless of title or seniority.
Basic Qualifications
6+ years of experience with web application development and/or SaaS platforms.
Extensive senior‑level development experience with object‑oriented languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python).
Proven experience leading the technical delivery of complex and innovative business functionality.
Strong understanding of software engineering principles such as design patterns, algorithms, and data structures, with demonstrable application in recent projects.
A strong communicator and collaborative team player.
A proactive owner who takes accountability for code from development through production.
Solid understanding of test automation principles and a strong advocate for code quality.
Strong knowledge of performance engineering and performance testing.
Other Qualifications
Experience with integration technologies (RESTful APIs, messaging systems, etc.).
Exposure to modern UI frameworks, especially React.
Experience contributing to highly configurable, metadata‑driven platforms.
Preferred General Qualifications
Relevant professional experience in Information Technology and/or Consulting.
Prior experience working in high‑growth tech companies or startups.
Understanding of Scrum, unit testing, CI/CD, and DevOps.
Knowledge of microservices and RESTful API architectures.
Experience with relational databases.
Four‑year degree, reputable bootcamp completion, or substantial mentorship/apprenticeship experience.
Successfully complete Callibrity's CoderPad and Pair Programming challenges.
Strong professionalism, accountability, and a passion for learning.
