Senior Fraud Investigator – Uber Freight

About The Role Freight fraud schemas are ever evolving and require constant assessment, urgent deep dives, and thorough investigations. This role will be responsible for supporting the investigation, information collection, and analytical discovery involved in fraud and theft incident management. Additionally, this role will be an analytical supporter for the Carrier Risk & Compliance org and be a key collaborator with our StratOps stakeholders to continue to improve our fraud tracking, processes, and systems.

What The Candidate Will Do

Be a subject matter expert on fraud

Conduct deep dives on fraud trends and large scale incidents

Own metric management that informs the fraud space

Support analytical needs of the org

Collaborate cross-functionally with Ops teams, StratOps, and product teams

Manage critical issues with high attention to detail and urgency

Work with Carrier onboarding, quality, and OSD teams on fraud prevention strategies

Basic Qualifications

1+ years of working with SQL as well as big‑data SQL engines

Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

Excel and Project Management experience

2+ years freight experience

1+ years experience in a freight fraud or compliance category

Subject matter expertise in freight escalations

Illinois: The salary range for this role is $72,150 to $103,000 a year.
