Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Controller with a strong background in aerospace or advanced manufacturing environments. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, cost structure optimization, and compliance with industry-specific regulatory requirements. The Controller will partner closely with executive leadership to support strategic initiatives and long-term business performance. Key Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles while ensuring accurate reporting of operational and financial results Oversee cost accounting for production and manufacturing operations, including BOM analysis, inventory valuation, and standard cost development Drive budgeting and forecasting processes that align with manufacturing capacity and program requirements Develop reporting and analytics to support government and commercial aerospace program profitability Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable government contracting regulations (FAR/DFARS, CAS) where required Maintain strong internal controls, process discipline, and audit readiness across all areas of accounting Manage cash flow forecasting, capital expenditure reporting, and working capital improvement strategies Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners Lead and mentor a high-performing accounting team, fostering continuous improvement culture Support digital transformation initiatives including system automation, ERP enhancements, and data integrity initiatives Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA highly preferred 7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing Strong understanding of cost accounting and manufacturing financial processes Experience working with government contracts or defense industry compliance is a strong plus ERP system expertise required; ability to optimize system utilization for reporting and controls Exceptional attention to detail and proven analytical, communication, and leadership skills Benefits & Perks
