What You’ll Do… As a Sr. FP&A Analyst, you will implement and maintain an effective planning and analysis function that will provide leadership with appropriate analytical tools to establish goals and measure performance of the company. This position will also support the strategic aspects of the annual budget and monthly/quarterly forecast process for the company by communicating and coordinating with the project management team, department managers and accountants on the established schedule, collecting, consolidating, and analyzing the appropriate data, and preparing requested reports by senior management. In addition, this position will analyze profitability by contract and at the portfolio level to identify beneficial changes that can be made to increase throughput, efficiency, and margins.

You’ll Make An Impact By

Supporting the strategic business planning process

Routinely communicating business unit and company consolidated financial and construction performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics

Monitoring Key Performance Indicators for the O&M department

Assisting in preparing presentations in support of monthly/quarterly/annual leadership meetings

Preparing budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data

Assisting in achieving budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions

Providing status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data

Preparing special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends

Assisting with ad-hoc information requests, projects, and analysis

Additional responsibilities may be added at the direction of Company’s management

You’ll Sweep Us Off Our Feet If You

Have experience creating and managing complex and detailed corporate budgets/forecasts

Have strong experience in working as a business partner in delivering better decision support and enabling strategic initiatives which help to improve organization financial performance

Have a thorough understanding of budgetary and accounting principles, practices, and policies

Have strong critical thinking and problem-solving mindset

Have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Have flexibility and adaptability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Have excellent listening, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Are highly self-motivated and directed

Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience in Financial Planning

BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, or relevant degree

Advanced Proficiency of MS Office (especially Excel)

Ability to be detailed oriented while thinking strategically

Well‑organized with ability to prioritize

Strong analytical and communication skills

Professional certification (e.g., CPA, C or equivalent) is a plus

SQL, Power BI, and data science experience is a plus

Experience working for a retail energy provider, or energy-service-oriented or manufacturing, maintenance, and repair business preferred

Ability to work in a fast paced and rapidly growing environment
