Investment Analyst – RBC Wealth Management We are looking for an Investment Analyst for RBC Wealth Management’s Portfolio Advisor Group (PAG) to help develop, manage, and promote our multi‑asset portfolio framework.

What is the opportunity? As an Investment Analyst you will collaborate with the Multi‑Asset Portfolio Strategist, Investment Strategist, and internal teams to build, coordinate, and execute our strategic asset allocation framework, which includes capital market assumptions and asset allocation profiles.

What will you do?

Research, construct, and annually update capital market assumptions.

Build, test, and refine asset allocation models using robust methodologies and quantitative analytical rigor; perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to evaluate portfolio resilience.

Create educational and marketing materials around the firm’s strategic asset allocation framework, including client‑approved commentary on asset allocation and other investment concepts.

Collaborate with the Multi‑Asset Portfolio Strategist and Investment Strategist to support high net‑worth client relationships, including bespoke asset allocation, investment policy statement development, investment selection, and ongoing portfolio reviews.

Analyze market, portfolio, and other relevant data as part of monitoring, evaluating, and recommending investment services.

Gather, organise, and prepare investment data for high‑net‑worth client meetings.

Work with internal investment committee members to drive awareness and adoption of our suite of discretionary multi‑asset portfolios, including participating in investment committee meetings.

Must‑have Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or a related field.

5+ years of financial services experience.

3+ years of experience in asset allocation, portfolio construction and strategy, investment research, or a related analytical role.

Strong understanding of asset allocation.

Strong proficiency in quantitative and statistical analysis.

Nice‑to‑have Qualifications

CFA designation or in process of obtaining.

Series 7 & 66 licensed, or the ability to obtain within 12 months.

Previous experience working with financial advisors.

Experience in investment performance and risk analysis, particularly related to multi‑asset portfolio management.

Due diligence experience analysing asset managers and investment vehicles such as ETFs, mutual funds, and separately managed accounts.

Salary Range: $85,000‑$150,000, depending on experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs. You may earn additional variable compensation through RBC’s discretionary program, contingent on business and individual performance.
