Position Overview

Credit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (CA-CIB), a worldwide leader in aircraft and rail financing, is seeking an experienced Structured Finance Associate for its Transportation Group within the Energy and Real Assets Division in the Americas. This team specializes in originating Capital Market solutions and creating, distributing, and booking tailor‑made financing solutions for airlines, lessors, and rail companies across North and Latin America.

The candidate will join a dynamic, collaborative team and interact regularly with the Portfolio Manager, the Relationship Managers, and other team members (Vice Presidents and Analysts), as well as with cross‑functional stakeholders including external counsel and various product groups within the bank.

As part of the Transportation Group, the candidate will contribute to a market‑leading practice with an established reputation for excellence in structured finance solutions across the Americas region.

On a regular basis and depending on workload, the candidate will be brought to give support to other Energy and Real Assets Business Lines, particularly the ones dealing with mobile assets (Shipping and Intermodal).

Salary Range:

$120k-$140k

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Origination & Execution: Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Vice Presidents in the relevant deal teams to structure, originate and execute sophisticated financing transactions from term sheet through documentation to closing.

Financial Analysis: Develop comprehensive credit analyses and financial models for airlines, aircraft leasing companies, and railcar leasing companies.

Client Materials: Support the Vice Presidents and Relationship Managers to create compelling pitch books and client presentations to support business development.

Portfolio Management: Under the supervision of the Portfolio Manager, conduct thorough annual reviews of existing transactions and counterparty ratings and monitor compliance, KYC requirements, and covenants.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with credit department (to liaise and respond to any credit questions), back/middle office, and product groups (Loan Syndications, Interest Rate Derivatives, Securitization, Debt Capital Markets, etc.).

Training of Analyst Resources: Assist and train entry‑level Analyst resources, with tasks delegated and reviewed where necessary.
