Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Proficiency in Excel Experience with NetSuite is a plus Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Cash Accountant to support high-volume cash activity within the accounting department. This role will oversee a variety of cash-related functions, provide support to Accounts Receivable and general accounting operations, and report directly to the Accounting Manager. Monitor, record, and process daily cash transactions, including receipts, disbursements, and bank deposits Perform weekly bank reconciliations within the general ledger system Post payments to Accounts Receivable and track any required follow-up Apply or return client deposits at the end of service Process client refunds Perform weekly 401(k) reconciliations Process replacement ACH payments or checks for employees as requested by the payroll department Void checks as needed Manage positive pay functions across multiple bank accounts Assist with financial audits by verifying cash-related transactions and preparing required documentation Maintain and support month-end reconciliation schedules Prepare ad hoc schedules, analyses, and reports as requested by accounting leadership Perform additional duties as assigned, based on departmental needs and supervisor guidance Seniority Level
