General Radiologist – Regional Health Network – Community Radiology Group
The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) seeks a General Radiologist to join its Community Radiology Group in the Pee Dee Region (Florence, Marion, Black River).
Work Hours & Schedule On‑site position; 40 hours per week; shift coverage from 7 am – 7 pm with occasional evenings. Hybrid schedules may be available based on coverage needs.
Responsibilities
Perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging services for community patients.
Manage breast imaging studies, including ultrasounds and MR.
Perform “light interventional radiology” procedures such as biopsies.
Provide coverage during nights and other shift variations as required.
Qualifications
MD or equivalent degree.
ABR Board‑certified and fellowship trained.
Experience in general radiology, breast imaging, and light interventional procedures.
Ability to obtain and maintain a permanent South Carolina medical license.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in upright and seated positions, walk, and perform tasks while moving.
Ability to lift up to 15 lb unassisted.
Maintain 20/40 vision and good hand dexterity.
Perform repetitive motions, reach in all directions, and work in confined spaces as required.
