Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant _ Hudson Valley, NY- Per Diem
We’re looking for experienced Physician Assistants (PA) and Nurse Practitioners (NP) with urgent care or emergency room experience to treat adult and pediatric patients. Join our diverse community of providers in the Hudson Valley area. Responsibilities Provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu‑like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections. Perform assessment and recognition of serious conditions and direct patients to the emergency room when necessary. Deliver an unparalleled patient experience in a fast‑paced urgent care environment. Work flexible per‑diem shifts (PRN) with a rate of $90 per hour. Utilize imaging, labs and an advanced EMR fully integrated with Nuvance Health. Hours of operation Centers are open 7 days a week, Monday–Sunday 8:00 AM–8:00 PM. Benefits Flexible scheduling – two shifts a month, one weekend shift. Work in state‑of‑the‑art centers equipped with advanced EMR and diagnostic tools. Autonomy with mentoring and support. 401(k) and sick time. High patient satisfaction scores. $90 per hour per diem rate. Minimum Required Qualifications PA/NP: 1 year full‑time experience in an urgent care or emergency medicine setting. Experience treating both adult and pediatric patient populations (all ages). Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X‑rays.
