The Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician, as part of the Addiction Medicine team, engages in a collaborative process to assess, plan, coordinate and/or implement treatment options and services to meet a patient’s whole healthcare needs. The clinician assists in the identification of substance use disorder(s) (SUD) treatment and other community resources ensuring that available resources are being used in order to reduce harm, obtain improved patient outcomes, and an improved patient experience. The qualified candidate will have experience in a fast‑pace clinical setting as well as expertise in evidence‑based practices relevant to working with patients and their families with co‑occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The clinician will demonstrate trauma‑informed care and cultural competence in care delivery. They will work within the multi-disciplinary team to service patients at Brockton Hospital.
Master degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social work, or equivalent, from an accredited graduate program. 3-5 years experience in a clinical setting required. LMHC, LICSW, or LADC I required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly MS Word and Excel.
