Full Time Mammography Technologist - Flower Mound
Job Purpose:
Performs and assists with high‑quality diagnostic mammography procedures, focusing on patient care and education.
Requirements:
Texas Medical Board, ARRT (M).
Duties:
Provide high‑quality diagnostic and screening mammograms.
Identify patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients and others.
Ensure operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calling for repairs, maintaining inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements and advise management.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties, providing explanations, and answering questions.
Prepare patient for procedure by positioning, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment, and setting exposure factors.
Minimize radiation to patients and staff through protection techniques, beam restriction, shielding, and exposure factor knowledge.
Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection‑control policies, drug protocols for reactions, administering first aid, and using the emergency cart.
Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following standards, developing radiographs, observing results, and making adjustments.
Document patient care services in department records.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Keep up with MQSA requirements and paperwork.

Flower Mound, TX
Hours:
5 days per week, 7am‑3:30pm Monday‑Friday (no weekends; closed major holidays with holiday pay). Available to pick up shifts on day off at other sites.
