Manages all aspects of clinical care coordination to deliver optimal patient care and achieve strategic goals. Provides administrative management and clinical operational direction, as applicable, to advance practice providers (APP) in collaboration with the Director and lead-APP, nurse coordinators and other clinical personnel. Coordinates daily clinical operations and supports ongoing problem resolution. Responsible for implementing all aspects of the hospital utilization management plan in collaboration with administration, medical/surgical staff, and other health care team members (as applicable to the department). Establishes tools, processes, and systems to optimize department effectiveness and meet strategic goals. Provides leadership and support to administrative and clinical staff. Ensures staff compliance with current regulatory standards governing patient care. Requirements

Education: BS Degree in Nursing; Master’s Degree preferred. Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse License – current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license; American Heart Association BLS CPR, PALS and APHON required within first year of hire. Experience: 5-7 years of experience. Travel: Required to travel to other clinical sites. What We Offer / Benefits
