We are seeking a compassionate and experienced
Part‑Time Optometrist
to join our mobile care team serving
Philadelphia, PA and Southern New Jersey . This role is ideal for someone looking to supplement their current schedule while making a meaningful impact in underserved communities. All administrative and logistical responsibilities—including equipment, supplies, scheduling, and billing—are fully managed by CMC. This is an
independent contractor position , allowing you to focus entirely on patient care without the burdens of managing a private practice. Weekly Schedule
2–3 days per week. Ideal availability would be Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday each week. Typical hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Key Responsibilities
Conduct routine eye exams, refractions, and vision screenings Diagnose and manage ocular diseases common in geriatric populations Prescribe corrective lenses and coordinate with optical labs as needed Educate patients and facility staff on eye health, prevention, and follow‑up Qualifications
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree Active PA and NJ optometry licenses (or eligibility) Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience; geriatric or mobile care experience preferred Strong diagnostic skills in ocular disease management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Apply Today
