In This Role You’ll We’re seeking a Principal Engineer to oversee and support a wide range of applications, IT infrastructure, and enterprise systems. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience in enterprise‑level business‑critical environments. The ideal candidate would have a strong proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory, 2FA, and Microsoft O365.
Responsibilities
Participate in user access and provisioning for enterprise applications (Adobe Suite, Citrix VDI, Frame.IO, Sony Ci, InTune, JAMF, Avid Wolftech, AP ENPS, Send Word Now, etc.)
Troubleshoot application, network, and firewall issues; provide L2 support for Microsoft Active Directory, OKTA, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Slack
Administer Citrix VDI environments and system monitoring using tools like New Relic
Create and manage AD security groups, distribution lists, and functional mailboxes; handle user management and bulk AD operations
Support client onboarding, offboarding, and permissions in collaboration with HR, Legal, and InfoSec
Participate in system migrations, upgrades (e.g., Windows 11), and IT projects; conduct proof‑of‑concept testing for new solutions
Maintain and update technical documentation and IT procedures
Establish team training cadence
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS in computer science, broadcasting, business administration or equivalent work experience
3+ years working in an enterprise environment
Must be available weekends, holidays, overnights; extended shift hours may be required
Proficient with Windows OS & macOS
Experience in enterprise administration, application administration, system provisioning, and IT L2 support
Proficiency with Active Directory, Exchange Online, OKTA, Citrix, JAMF, and VDI management
Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, networks, user access and systems
Some domestic travel may be required – up to 10%
Must be able to lift and move equipment up to 45 lbs
Excellent organizational, documentation, and project management abilities
Effective communication with clients, team, and senior management
Effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams and collaborators
Familiarity with monitoring and security tools (New Relic, CrowdStrike, Proofpoint)
Experience supporting enterprise‑level onboarding, offboarding, and compliance processes
Bonus Skills
Experience with automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python) for system administration
Additional Information Hiring Salary Range:
$150,000.00 - $175,000.00
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job‑related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
