industrial additives sector ? LANXESS is looking for a dynamic and strategic

Key Account Manager

to join our

Lubricants Additives Business (LAB)

team.

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in

expanding market presence , managing

key accounts and distributors , and shaping the future of our

specialty chemicals portfolio —with a focus on the

Additin

product line.

What You’ll Do

Manage and grow sales across key customers and distributors, with full account and budget responsibility.

Develop and maintain key account plans, keeping CRM tools up to date and actionable.

Identify customer/product opportunities and niche value propositions, particularly in the

MWF/Lubricants Additives

market.

Collaborate cross-functionally through

Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

to drive forecasting, cost management, and operational alignment.

Represent LANXESS at major

industry trade shows

(AFPM, ILMA, STLE, NLGI).

Learn the LANXESS culture, products, and customers—building the foundation for potential

future leadership opportunities .

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in

Business, Science, Engineering , or a closely related field.

MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.

5-10 years of sales experience , ideally in lubricant additives sales.

Proven success in qualifying prospects, selling value, and exceeding targets.

Exceptional relationship-building, influencing, and conflict management skills.

Strategic thinker with the ability to manage complexity and anticipate customer motivations.

Strong team player who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments.

Willingness to

travel up to 50%

across the United States.
