RF Engineer – KBR, Inc.
KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high‑end engineering and advanced technology solutions to intelligence and national security communities. In this position, your work will profoundly impact the protection of national security.

Key Responsibilities
Advise on new systems acquisitions and upgrades for the government.
Deliver new capabilities by communicating with users, contractors, and operations to understand requirements and coordinate testing.
Architect systems and act as subject‑matter expert advising government clients on acquisition decisions.
Perform RF testing during equipment installations.
Assist in contract work, including development of Statements of Work, proposal review, and contractor performance assessments.
Design and troubleshoot network architectures with developers and operations.
Work Environment
Location: On‑site
Travel: Minimal, up to 15% within the United States and OCONUS.
Hours: Standard.
Qualifications Required
Security clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph.
Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree.
Minimum 5 years of RF experience.
Requirements documentation skills to maintain baselines.
Desired
Satellite systems experience: 3 years with commercial/government acquisition of satellite/ground segment hardware/software.
Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree.
Good understanding of IT networks (performance, topologies).
Experience with RF‑based satellite communications.
Experience with digital signal processing.
