Tax Manager - Public Accounting
We’re partnering with a well-established and growing CPA firm seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team. This firm offers a collaborative environment, strong community reputation, and a clear path for professional growth and advancement.
Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Essential Functions
Manage and review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
Provide proactive tax planning and strategic consulting to clients across various industries.
Supervise, train, and mentor staff accountants to support their professional development.
Review client work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor.
Assist in firm management and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or MBA a plus).
CPA license required.
Minimum 7 years of experience in public accounting.
Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate staff.
Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Ultra Tax is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.
No PST Time Zone.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary: $100K - $120K+ (depending on experience).
