Subsea7 Reporting to the Project Manager (or Project Director), the Project Engineering Manager will be responsible for the overall engineering delivery on the project managing various engineering disciplines. Strong understanding of internal engineering guideline ENG-14 and ensure the team follows the process during the project life cycle. Strong understanding of interfaces between disciplines and responsible to create the expectations for all the team members on the project. Responsible to create and maintain the engineering plan and the MDR. Responsible to create recovery plans if required. Direct interface with Client Depending on the project size, PEM is responsible to review all the engineering documents before approval. In cases where the Lead (or deputy) is responsible to review and approve, PEM need to set clear expectations with the Leads. Ensure quality is maintained in the installation engineering documents and reports as per our internal guidelines. Responsible to ensure all required disciplines are on the internal review cycles. Ensure lessons learned for previous tenders and projects are recorded and used. Owner of the engineering as sold budget and actively manage changes on the project. Manage the engineering resources and interfaces on a tender or project to achieve delivery. Manages performance of the team, strive to maintain positive team morale Responsible for reviewing the engineering risks and opportunities with the team monthly and drive the team to think of risk identification and reduction measures throughout the project. Responsible to create all required man plans to support operations. Responsible to close out all the engineering review actions ahead of the campaign mobilizations. Expected to attend the key vessel mobilization as part of the Management site visits. If required, need to be available to go offshore on the project. Complete the internal and external project close out requirements and support continuous improvement.

What experience would we like you to have?
You will be able to demonstrate knowledge, skills, experience, and behaviors in the following areas:
Minimum 3 years’ experience as Project Engineering Manager in similar field is desirable. Experience managing engineering on EPCI SURF projects is desirable. Specialized experience like shallow water lay and onshore construction experience is a plus. Experience working on Tenders and Projects High level of relevant operational offshore experience Deliver work autonomously with minimal supervision. Capacity to priorities, plan, coordinate and communicate to enable successful delivery. Internal and external Stake holder management Embrace changes and behave as a role model to the team.
