Required Skills & Experience

3 to 5 years of DevOps or related engineering experience

Strong hands‑on experience with Azure services and Azure DevOps pipelines

Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools

Solid understanding of Windows environments and Windows‑based infrastructure

Ability to apply general programming or scripting knowledge

Experience building, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines

Flexibility to take on varied responsibilities in a startup environment

Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams

Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, dynamic environment

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience working in hybrid environments transitioning from on‑premises to cloud

AWS experience with demonstrated ability to adapt cloud knowledge to Azure

C# familiarity or understanding of .NET ecosystem

Experience with cloud migration projects and workload transitions

Knowledge of Terraform state management in team environments

Experience structuring Infrastructure as Code for scalability across multiple environments

PowerShell or other Windows scripting experience

Experience with legacy system modernization

Familiarity with HRIS systems or UKG infrastructure

Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer)

Experience with automation frameworks and tools

Understanding of contact center or customer engagement technologies

What You Will Be Doing

40% Azure Cloud Migration (on‑prem to Azure workload migration and optimization)

30% Pipeline and Automation (Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, deployment automation)

20% Infrastructure as Code (Terraform implementation and management)

10% Windows Infrastructure (support and enhancement of Windows‑based systems)

Daily Responsibilities

50% Hands‑On Engineering (building pipelines, writing Terraform, migrating workloads)

30% Modernization Projects (legacy system updates, automation implementation)

20% Collaboration and Support (working with teams, maintaining critical systems)

Key Responsibilities Azure Cloud Migration

Contribute to ongoing migration from on‑premises systems to fully Azure‑based environment

Plan and execute workload migrations to Azure cloud

Assess legacy systems and determine optimal Azure migration paths

Implement Azure services to replace on‑premises infrastructure

Optimize Azure resources for performance and cost efficiency

Support hybrid environment during transition period

Azure DevOps and Pipeline Management

Build, manage, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines

Implement CI/CD workflows for application deployment

Configure build and release pipelines for various projects

Troubleshoot pipeline failures and optimize build performance

Integrate automated testing and quality gates into pipelines

Manage Azure DevOps repositories, boards, and artifacts

Infrastructure as Code

Implement infrastructure as code primarily using Terraform

Develop Terraform modules and patterns for reusable infrastructure

Manage Terraform state in collaborative team environment

Structure IaC for scalability across multiple environments (dev, staging, production)

Version control infrastructure code and implement peer review processes

Document infrastructure patterns and best practices

Windows Infrastructure Support

Support and enhance Windows‑based infrastructure

Troubleshoot Windows server and application issues

Implement automation for Windows system management

Work within .NET ecosystem as needed

Apply scripting knowledge to Windows administration tasks

Support mission‑critical Windows‑based systems

Automation and Modernization

Collaborate with engineering teams to improve automation capabilities

Identify opportunities for automation in legacy environments

Implement automation to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency

Participate in modernization efforts across legacy systems

Replace manual processes with automated workflows

Drive continuous improvement initiatives

System Support and Maintenance

Help maintain and support mission‑critical systems

Support HRIS and UKG‑related infrastructure

Monitor system health and performance

Respond to incidents and troubleshoot issues

Implement monitoring and alerting solutions

Ensure system reliability and uptime

Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing

Work closely with senior DevOps engineer as backup support

Collaborate with engineering teams across the organization
