Plant Controller – Bostik Join Bostik’s Plant Finance Leadership Team. The Plant Controller works closely with plant managers and corporate finance to drive plant financial performance, support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, and ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

Responsibilities

Provide financial guidance, direction, and analytical support for plant conversion costs, material and production costs, inventory valuation, financial statements, and industrial investment.

Review and analyze actual and standard costing, cost estimates, material usage variance, purchase price variance, scrap, and cost per ton; communicate findings to plant leadership.

Ensure accurate inventory valuation and conduct cycle counts; manage inventory provisions for slow‑moving and quality items.

Control and detect variances in budgets, group reporting handbooks, IFRS, US GAAP; request corrective manual entries as needed.

Support fixed‑asset and plant investment activities, including fixed‑asset inventory reviews and disposal of assets in line with Bostik policy.

Coordinate month‑end close activities and provide timely communication to BU leaders.

Lead the plant budget process, prepare conversion cost budget, analyze yearly conversion cost evolution, and present detailed budget results to BU and corporate.

Communicate site financial results through monthly financial reports to Finance Managers, BU, and corporate.

Support year‑end audit requirements for plant financials to external and internal auditors.

Mentor and develop local manufacturing staff on accounting principles, internal controls, financial statement analysis, cost analysis, and inventory control.

Qualifications

B.S. or B.A. in accounting or finance.

At least 3 years of experience in industrial or public accounting.

analytical insight and proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting systems for analysis and financial modeling.

Demonstrated competency in SAP (preferred) and knowledge of metrics/KPI.

Excellent relationship‑building skills and reactivity.

Commitment to OSHA, EPA, and Bostik EHS guidelines.
