We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer (Software/Firmware Developer) to join our dynamic engineering team in the telecommunications industry. This role involves end-to-end development of electrical systems and embedded software/firmware for both prototype and production units, from concept and detailed design to manufacturing release.

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed hardware design with a focus on digital circuits and embedded firmware/software development.

Lead and execute design validation and qualification testing, including accelerated life testing, environmental stress screening, and compliance verification.

Develop and maintain thorough technical documentation (design reviews, test plans, test reports, and manufacturing release documents).

Serve as the software engineering lead on assigned projects, ensuring compliance with departmental standards and customer/system requirements.

Research and implement design enhancements to improve manufacturability, performance, and reliability in collaboration with the quality engineering team.

Act as a subject matter expert in control software and relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5-7 years of hands‑on experience in relevant engineering roles.

Proven experience in embedded firmware/software development (C/C++ or similar languages) and digital hardware design.

Familiarity with telecom systems, microcontrollers, FPGA‑based systems, or high‑speed digital design is a strong plus.

Proficiency with lab/test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) for hardware and software validation.

Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently or in cross‑functional teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
