Electrical Engineer III, Manufacturing Test Join Anduril Industries as an Electrical Engineer III in the Manufacturing organization. Anduril is a defense technology company focused on transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities.

About the Job Design and build complex systems and PCBA platforms to test our products. Work with FPGA, MCU, and off‑the‑shelf equipment to enable testing to stringent standards. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary design team, manage requirements, capture custom circuits, and design complex assemblies and harnesses. Work with firmware engineers to support board‑support packages for embedded Linux and bring up MCU RTOS platforms.

What You’ll Do

Design circuits and schematics for test automation platforms.

Integrate designs into Anduril’s PDM systems following the same process as product design teams.

Design and source PCB assemblies ranging from FPGA‑based data acquisition boards to MCU interface boards, breakout boards, wiring harnesses, or peripheral modules.

Architect and source circuit board test fixtures, integrating designs with internally developed and off‑the‑shelf data acquisition equipment.

Build an internal library for test circuits, leveraging expertise in DFM/DFT.

Bring up, debug, and characterize low‑speed interfaces (I2C, SPI, CAN, etc.) and high‑speed signals (RF, memory, USB).

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of industry experience with emphasis on product designs that went to manufacturing.

Experience with professional electronics design packages (Altium, Cadence, PADs, etc.).

Expertise in PCBA design; ability to design and fabricate or guide contract manufacturing.

Familiarity with electronics test equipment (power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscope, function generators, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition sensors).

Experience with PLM systems and releasing designs for production.

Must be a U.S. person (required for export‑controlled information access).

Preferred Qualifications

7+ years of industry experience.

Experience with Python for configuration and automation of setup tasks.

Familiarity with FPGA PCBA platforms – RTL, synthesis, and bare‑metal coding.

Master’s of Science in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.

Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Salary $129,000—$171,000 USD (base salary only; may vary by experience, education, and business considerations).
