Structural Drafter 3 – Energy & Industrial Group

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement: three days a week in office, two days remote.
Opportunity to develop CAD 3D design models for steel structures and concrete foundations, creating 2D drawing deliverables.
Responsibilities
Supporting senior designers by producing structural drawings completed on time, within budget, while maintaining quality, consistency, and accountability that meets or exceeds customer requirements.
Collaborating with mechanical and electrical designers to resolve clashes within the 3D model, optimizing the overall design. Travel to client facilities may be necessary to verify on-site conditions.
Adapting to a wide range of technologies in power generation, mining, oil & gas, and renewables, including carbon capture, solar, wind, battery storage, hydrogen, and natural gas.
Qualifications
Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology preferred.
CAD certificate required if not holding a degree.
Previous relevant experience considered.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation).
Knowledge of ACI, AISC, OSHA.
Attention to detail, time management.
