About the Role
We are seeking a
Wiz Implementation Specialist
to lead the deployment, configuration, and rollout of the Wiz Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) platform across multi-cloud environments. This role is hands‑on and requires strong technical depth in cloud security, identity integration, and CSPM operations, along with excellent communication and coordination skills.
You will work directly with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful onboarding, configuration, and optimization of Wiz in alignment with organizational security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and operationalize the
Wiz CSPM platform .
Onboard cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and validate permissions and connectivity.
Implement and customize
build‑time and run‑time Wiz security policies .
Configure Wiz scanning settings, remediation workflows, and alerting structures.
Build and manage custom Wiz policies based on security or compliance needs.
Identity & Access Integration
Integrate Wiz with Identity Providers (IdP) such as
Entra ID (Azure AD) , Okta, etc.
Configure
SSO, MFA, SCIM, and role‑based access control
within Wiz.
Cloud Security Posture Management
Collaborate with security and cloud teams to identify misconfigurations and vulnerabilities.
Enable best‑practice
cloud security monitoring , remediation workflows, and posture dashboards.
Assist in defining and validating cloud security baselines across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Troubleshooting & Support
Diagnose issues related to environment onboarding, scanning failures, permissions, and account integrations.
Work closely with engineering teams to resolve technical problems quickly.
Project Coordination & Documentation
Develop implementation plans and track deliverables and timelines.
Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, policies, and environment settings.
Serve as the primary technical contact during the implementation lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
Experience
implementing or administering Wiz
in an enterprise environment.
Strong knowledge of
cloud security
concepts and CSPM tools.
Hands‑on experience with
AWS, Azure, or GCP
cloud environments.
Familiarity with IAM concepts and IdP integrations (e.g.,
Entra ID / Azure AD , Okta).
Understanding of cloud networking, permissions, and security controls.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with other CSPM tools (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Lacework, Defender for Cloud).
Knowledge of IaC tools such as
Terraform
or CloudFormation.
Background in DevSecOps, Cloud Security Engineering, or Infrastructure Security.
