About the Company : Excellent job opportunity for a CFO, with a fast‑growing PE backed company in Orange County. The company is a mid‑sized company and has been in business for 30 plus years. Position is on‑site and reports to the CEO.

About the Role : The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, leadership and operations skills and prior experience in manufacturing in the industrial components space. The CFO is a strategic partner on the executive team, responsible for driving financial performance, supporting growth initiatives, and maximizing long‑term value. This role oversees all financial functions, leads M&A activity, and manages private equity relationships in a multi‑site manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership : Partner with the CEO and Board to develop and execute growth strategies, financial planning, and value creation initiatives.
Financial Operations : Lead accounting, treasury, tax, audit, and reporting functions. Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls. Drive efficiency and disciplined capital allocation.
M&A and Integration : Lead due diligence, deal execution, and integration for acquisitions aligned with the company’s growth strategy.
Private Equity Engagement : Manage relationships with sponsors and lenders. Support capital structure optimization and deliver accurate, investor‑ready reporting.
Team Leadership : Build and mentor a high‑performing finance team. Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and cross‑functional collaboration. Important to have the ability to tell the story and convey the Finance message to a non‑finance audience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Finance or Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred
15+ years in finance, including 5+ years as CFO or senior finance leader in manufacturing within the industrial components space
Experience with private equity, M&A, and multi‑site operations
Strong cost accounting and plant‑level financial expertise, including multi‑site experience
Experience with a large ERP system a plus
Hands‑on, collaborative leadership style
Required Skills : Excellent communication, leadership and operations skills. Experience as Finance leader in manufacturing in the industrial components space.
