Army Modernization Senior Analyst
This Position is Subject to Contract Award. JANUS Research Group is currently seeking an Army Modernization Senior Analyst for a contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8). The DCS G-8 is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the PPBE process. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with the ASA(ALT) on all proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization enterprise.
Responsibilities
Serves as the Senior Analyst for Army Modernization Strategy, Plans, Policy, and DOTMLPF-P Integration within the Directorate of Integration.
Provides expert analytical support linking modernization strategy to force employment and readiness through integration with ReARMM (Regionally Aligned Readiness and Modernization Model).
Develops and synchronizes Army modernization policies, campaign plans, and capability integration efforts across all DOTMLPF-P domains.
Coordinates policy and strategy alignment for Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) modernization to ensure interoperability with emerging concepts and formations.
Prepares reports, briefings, and strategic assessments supporting SPAR, POM, and AROC/JROC reviews.
Coordinates with ASA(ALT), T2COM, ARSTAF, and Joint Staff to ensure coherent execution of Army modernization and readiness strategies.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business.
A minimum of four (4) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties.
Demonstrates expert analytical and strategic planning skills in developing and integrating Army modernization strategies, plans, and policy.
Proficient in aligning modernization priorities with Joint and Departmental guidance through the ReARMM framework and DOTMLPF-P integration.
Skilled in assessing policy impacts, resource implications, and modernization effectiveness to inform senior leader decisions.
Possesses strong analytical and communication abilities to produce clear, actionable strategies and policy recommendations supporting Army readiness and transformation.
