Role Description The Director of Charter School Finance will take a lead role in providing financial and strategic support to charter schools and education stakeholders. Responsibilities include managing financial planning and analysis, overseeing financial statements and reports, and evaluating sustainable funding models. The Director will also engage with clients collaboratively, deliver insights from data analytics, and contribute to shaping policies and systems for better fiscal outcomes. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Santa Fe, NM.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in financial planning and management of budgets to support institutional goals
Proficiency in financial statements analysis, interpretation, and presentation
Exceptional analytical skills to assess complex data and drive actionable insights
Knowledge and experience in finance, including funding models and resource allocation
Experience in financial reporting with attention to detail and regulatory compliance
Effective communication and problem‑solving skills
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
Master’s degree in business, finance, public policy, or a related field is preferred
Experience in education finance or charter schools is a plus
