School Psychologist (Hybrid)

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled School Psychologist to provide hybrid school psychological services to students, including assessment, counseling, and consultation. This position is ideal for a professional who is experienced in school psychology and is comfortable working independently within a school environment and remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychoeducational assessments, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral evaluations.
Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing various emotional and behavioral issues.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop and implement strategies to support student success.
Develop and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with other educational professionals.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of all assessments, interventions, and communications.
Stay current with best practices and developments in school psychology.
Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
Valid and active license as a School Psychologist in Illinois.
Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience working as a School Psychologist, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong understanding of psychoeducational assessments, IEPs, and behavior management strategies.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a school environment.
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills
Experience with crisis intervention and behavior management in a school setting.
Familiarity with various educational software tools.
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
Flexible scheduling with opportunities to adjust hours to meet personal and professional needs.
This is a 1099 contractual position. Independent contractors will be responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
