Overview We are looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join one of the world’s leading global private equity firms who will own the accounting and reporting for a high-profile book of direct real estate investments (life sciences/lab, senior housing, self-storage, industrial, medical office, multi‑family, media/content studios, etc.). This is a true “finance business partner” seat inside the Real Estate team; you’ll be the primary accounting contact for the investment professionals, oversee property‑level and fund‑level reporting, drive quarterly valuations, and play a central role in budgeting, capital activity, and investor distributions. Key Responsibilities
Own monthly/quarterly accounting close and reporting for a portfolio of direct real estate investments and related funds
Review property packages, capital activity, budgets vs. actuals, promote/management fees, and quarterly fair‑value reporting
Partner with investment teams and JV partners on financial performance and transactions
Prepare valuation materials, coordinate investor capital calls/distributions, and support fund audits
Drive process improvement and special projects across the real estate finance platform
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA preferred
2‑4 years of real estate accounting experience (Big 4 and/or real‑estate investment manager background ideal)
Comfort engaging with investment professionals and external partners
