An Assurance Experienced Senior, Technology Risk Assurance is responsible for the planning of IS audit processes and the completion of testing and analysis of client software systems. The role includes documenting and testing general controls across diverse technology environments to assess system security, access controls, backup recovery procedures, and IS organizational practices. Job Duties
Document and test application and automated controls on a wide range of software application packages. Prepare audit reports and recommendations associated with IS audit work performed. Identify opportunities to utilize computer‑assisted audit techniques (CAATs) and manage the implementation of those techniques. Participate in internal control reviews based on Sarbanes‑Oxley Act requirements. Communicate with client areas to strengthen controls, mitigate risks, and increase efficiency. Identify key risks and assess their impact and likelihood of occurrence. Recognize technical concerns or issues and communicate them with IS Assurance management. Plan and execute the IS audit work on assigned engagements. Develop and maintain relationships with client personnel and management. Conduct client interviews to obtain relevant information for non‑complex clients. Perform walkthroughs of client controls. Document controls, tests performed, and results. Prepare workpapers in the required format. Apply IS audit principles and guidelines to non‑complex client environments. Other duties as required. Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise the day‑to‑day workload of IS Assurance Associates on assigned engagements and review work product. Ensure IS Assurance Associates are trained on all relevant IS Assurance software and resources. Deliver periodic performance feedback and complete performance evaluations for IS Assurance Associates. Act as a mentor to IS Assurance Associates, as appropriate. Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Systems (required). Master’s in Information Systems or another relevant advanced degree (preferred). Experience
Four (4) or more years of experience in information systems and operational auditing (required). One (1) or more years of supervisory experience (required). Prior experience in a public accounting and internal auditing environment (preferred). Prior experience performing general and application control reviews (preferred). License / Certifications
CPA, CISA, CISSP and/or CFE certification (preferred). Software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Exposure to various industry ERP applications (highly preferred). Additional Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical and research skills. Solid organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multi‑task independently or within a group environment. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline‑driven environment. Effective team leadership and delegation. Relationship building with client personnel. Travel up to 30%. Salary
