Manager, M&A Accounting & Integration

to join its Corporate Finance organization. This company plays a critical role in enabling next‑generation technologies.

This is a rare opportunity for a strong technical accountant or deal‑oriented finance professional to step into an influential role with excellent mentorship, high executive visibility, and a healthy work‑life balance—something that can be hard to find in M&A‑related roles.

About the Role As a core member of the Technical Accounting & M&A team, you will support the full lifecycle of acquisitions and strategic investments—from diligence and accounting assessments through integration and post‑close execution.

You’ll collaborate closely with Corporate Development, Finance, Legal, and Operations, helping shape how newly acquired businesses roll into the company’s global structure. This role is ideal for someone coming from Big 4 Audit and/or Deal Advisory/Technical Accounting who enjoys meaningful project work, solving interesting accounting challenges, and partnering with senior leadership—without the lifestyle of consulting or banking.

What You’ll Do

Support the finance workstream on M&A transactions, including diligence, business combination accounting, and valuation/PPA topics

Partner with cross‑functional teams on integration activities, systems alignment, and global reporting processes

Analyze and document complex accounting areas such as business combinations, equity method investments, and other acquisition‑related matters

Work with external advisors, valuation specialists, and internal stakeholders across the organization

Help enhance internal playbooks, models, and technical accounting documentation

Stay current on evolving guidance and help educate business partners

What Makes This Role Attractive

True hybrid flexibility: Most of the team comes in 1–2 days per week with common‑sense scheduling

Mentorship from exceptional leadership: Team is led by experienced Big 4 alumni who value development, exposure, and long‑term career growth

High‑impact work without burnout: The pace is steady but manageable; the company is structured, well‑resourced, and not transactional like advisory firms

Growing industry aligned with AI infrastructure: The company’s semiconductor test systems and automation platforms are essential in the AI chip supply chain

Strong cultural reputation: Known for work‑life balance, low ego leadership, and a collaborative environment

Long‑term upside: Profit sharing, tenure‑based rewards, and career mobility across technical accounting, reporting, controllership, and special projects

Who We’re Looking For

5–8 years of experience, ideally Big 4 Audit plus Transaction Services/FDD/Technical Accounting experience. Corporate Accounting Experience that covers technical accounting policy projects and supports integration post M&A is also very fitting.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, especially ASC 805 and Revenue Accounting per ASC 606

Experience supporting deal teams, diligence, or integration efforts (corporate or advisory)

CPA strongly preferred

Ability to collaborate across functions and communicate with senior stakeholders

A proactive mindset with interest in both the technical and operational sides of M&A
