About the Opportunity
An established investment management firm is seeking a
Consultant Relations Associate
to support its North American consultant engagement strategy. This role blends relationship management and business development, providing significant exposure to institutional consultants and internal teams across Client Service, Investments, Operations, and Compliance. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and interested in building a long-term career in consultant relations, institutional sales, or client-facing roles within asset management.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate, schedule, and prepare materials for consultant meetings.
Participate in meetings and calls; document and distribute detailed follow-up notes.
Ensure timely responses to consultant inquiries and information requests.
Manage consultant-related cash flows and maintain CRM contact lists, activities, and opportunities.
Assist with monthly consultant outreach and targeted communications.
Support RFP/RFI/DDQ processes and provide data updates to consultant databases.
Collaborate across internal teams to gather information and support consultant engagement efforts.
Contribute to ad hoc projects and serve as a reliable resource for the Consultant Relations team.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree; finance or economics preferred.
1+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to manage time‑sensitive deliverables.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Professional, collaborative team player with sound business judgment and a positive attitude.
