Kinekta are partnered with a growing IPP in the US that focuses on thermal and renewable energy power generation across the US. They are searching for a Head of Asset management and Operations to join their team to lead their portfolio commercial, financial and operations.
Responsibilities
Define and execute asset management and operations strategy across thermal and renewable assets.
Lead plant operations and O&M oversight, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
Manage financial performance including budgets, forecasts, reporting, and capital planning.
Optimize portfolio value through performance improvements, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
Build and lead a high-performing team aligned to operational and strategic goals.
Requirements
10-15+ years of experience in the power sector with asset management and operations leadership.
Expertise across both thermal/natural gas and renewable generation portfolios in the US.
Strong knowledge of power markets, commercial strategy, and financial structures.
Track record of driving operational performance and portfolio optimization at scale.
Strong financial acumen and experience working with lenders, investors, and regulators.
