Position Summary Primary responsibilities include ensuring appropriate operational service levels at retail, working with vendors on product flow to achieve vendor to warehouse fill rate goals (VFR), managing inventory days of supply objectives (DOS) and on shelf availability (OSA) targets, and supporting procurement streams. This role also serves as the primary interface with vendor supply chain partners, representing ADUSA Supply Chain and communicating product availability issues to brand teams.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Manage all Relex daily, weekly, and monthly workflows to meet operational service level targets.
Monitor and ensure timely execution of planned product allocations.
Analyze system exceptions for root cause.
Manage inventory to achieve DOS, obsolete, and product freshness targets.
Execute and monitor purchase orders – ensuring on-time and in-full metrics.
Consult with Advantage team and Demand Systems Specialists on vendor efficiency programs.
Develop a plan to address overstocks and left‑over sale excess inventory with the Merchandising group.
Work with suppliers, Quality Control, Supply Chain operations, store divisional operations, and Risk Management on product availability, freshness, transition, recalls, and market withdrawals.
Stay informed on commodity or supplier issues impacting category sales and anticipate changes.
Provide timely communication to supervisors on inventory transactions, short‑term out‑of‑stocks, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with Forecast Analysts on forecast variance and marketing influencer data.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics or a related business field or equivalent experience.
2‑4 years of relevant experience.
Strong mathematical and statistical aptitude.
Ability to analyze and interpret large data sets.
Working knowledge of supply chain processes and large, complex desk assignments.
Root‑cause analysis and solution implementation skills.
Experience with statistical forecasts and demand forecasting.
Experience with forecasting and replenishment software.
Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
Strong critical thinking and autonomous decision‑making.
Oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Inventory management best practices.
Attention to detail.
Store Operations or Supply Chain knowledge preferred.
Relex knowledge preferred.
Salary Ranges:
ME/NC/PA/SC: $75,040 – $112,560
IL/MA/MD/NY: $86,320 – $129,480
All compensation is based on qualifications, experience, internal equity, and market conditions per company policy and applicable laws.
